What is aheadOffice?
aheadOffice is a web 2.0 online collaboration software, which presents a full set of tools for project management and development by remote teams, or for offshore customers, or projects within medium- or big-sized companies.

Whom is aheadOffice for?
aheadOffice is right for your company or business if at least one of the following statements regarding it is correct:

Is there a Free Version?
Yes, you can register a domain like yourcompany.aheadoffice.com for free using "Group 2" plan. It won't have any functional or time limitation, but overall members capacity is 2 accounts and all domains unused for 30 days are automatically deleted. You are able to upgrade this free domain to any paid plan preserving everything contributed to the domain.

What is the difference between Domain and Account?
Domain is your company site on aheadOffice with all information including files and the database. Accounts are user accounts which allow people to login in your domain. When ordering a domain, the chosen plan applies limits to the number of free accounts under your domain.

How long does it take to create my own domain?
Just fill in and send the registration form, which takes a couple of minutes and your domain will be set up instantly.

What do we do if our company grows or reduces?
Besides we have different plans for any accounts capacity and ability to upgrade/downgrade between them at no cost, you can also request additional accounts for your domain. Please see the pricing here.

Can we customize Our domain Home Page?
Yes, your domain has its own home (login) page which can be customized from according section of the administration panel. This way you can make it look like your company website or anything else.

Do we need to download any additional software?
No, the only software required is a web browser with JavaScript enabled, which is usually so.

Is any training required to start using aheadOffice?
We did our best to create an easy to use solution, so you don't have to learn anything. Even if you stuck with something there is always a relevant help section and support contact who is always happy to assist.

How do we get new features and versions of aheadOffice?
You don't have to worry about that - all new features and versions are applied automatically at no extra cost.

Does aheadOffice support my Operating System and Browser?
aheadOffice supports Internet Explorer 6 and 7, Firefox from 1.5 to 3.x, Safari 3.x running under Windows, Linux or MacOS.

What are the Hardware and Internet Connection requirements to use aheadOffice?
aheadOffice doesn't require any specific hardware. If you have any compatible browser (enumerated in the previous answer) then you are able to use aheadOffice. Our unique engine makes even 56Kbit dial-up connection enough for comfortable work.

Can we import/export our database?
Currently you can import your contacts using a CSV file. As for export – the whole domain database can be exported. For this purpose please contact .

Can we Trust our Business data to aheadOffice?
We claim no ownership or rights to the materials contributed to your aheadOffice domain. We also do not monitor or in any way influence your activity.
aheadOffice is functioning in a highly secured environment: we have up and running full set of server protection software, and specially tuned web server and database software to provide our customers with the highest level of security. Our servers are monitored 24x7 by a dedicated team of system administrators. All programs and solutions provided by aheadOffice have been developed with a great concern about security, we use encryption algorithms to protect your passwords and 2-, 3-tier access to storage areas.

What are upgrade/downgrade costs?
Upgrades and downgrades as well as additional accounts capacity change are performed at no cost. All changes take power since the next billing cycle. In a case of upgrade your billing cycle date changes to the moment of the upgrade, so you can employ all upgrade benefits immediately.

Can we credit the unused funds to the new plan when upgrading?
Yes, the unused funds will be automatically credited to your new plan.

How do we cancel?
Please login to your domain, find the according section in the administration panel (Administration->Domain settings), press cancellation link and follow the instructions.

What is the refund policy?
We do NOT offer refunds. You can sign up for a free plan and use all features without time or functional limitations, which is enough to decide whether you need a paid account. In case you downgrade you would use the current plan until the next billing cycle.
